Huntsville city school students are gearing up for their first full week back at school.

The district was using a staggered schedule... but now all traditional students will return five days a week.

Waay 31's ashley carter joins us live now at the district office.

Ashley, what precautions are they taking when all students return?

The district says they will make sure the health and safety of students remain a number one priority now and social distancing will be heavily enforced when possible now that there will be more students in the building at one time.

Class sizes will be as small as possible and students and teachers will be required to either wear a face mask or a face shield.
