Dozens of people were fed today thanks to walk by faith outreach church.

C: i'm was not always fortunate.
I have not always had what i had regardless of what it looks like now, it was always something different.
M: pastor chiffion westfall is looking at this time of giving with gratitude.
As the owner of chiffion's beauty store and pastor of walk by fait outreach church, she says it's her faith that's helped her reach these milestones.
Now she's giving to others.
C: people are already having hard times, people are already falling down on their luck, people are already going through something so this is a time where i really feel that we could give back to those that's falling down.
M: westfall says she buys the food using the money she makes from her business and several mothers in the church work together to prepare it.
For annette schneider, beyond the meal, it's the fellowship that she enjoys most.
A: i'd like to be in my own home having family members and friends over to celebrate, you know, to celebrate.
When you're in the homeless shelter, you got all different kinds of people who come from various backgrounds and it's scary.
M: while westfall is providing food and comfort for those in need she's calling on the community to come together as well.
C: how much would we do if all of us come together, not just feeding, praying, meeting, coming together with the meetings of the mind because there's so much going on in the world today.
M: westfall says they will also be hosting another meal giveaway around christmas time.

The church will be giving away frozen, canned and boxed thanksgiving foods this coming tuesday.
You can pick up the products anytime between 3-30 to 7 p-m.
