As boys basketball season tips off across the valley, in class 2a all eyes are on the linton miners as they're poised to have another terrific season.

Lincoln hale needed seven points coming in to become the miners all-time leading scorer.

Hale on the break away scores and is fouled, that ties him with the all-time record.

Later in the qtr, hale the steal and the finger roll to become the schoos all-time leading scorer with 1,492 career points passing dess fougerousse.

The future sycamore finished with 32.

North knox came to play....reece hammelman with the tough hoop to end the first half...warrios only were down 30-23 at the half.

Second half...linton would flex their muscles...sophomore star joey hart with his first of what will be a lot of dunks this season.

Third ranked linton pulls away in the second half to win 68-51..... after the game sports 10 caugh up with the new all-time points leader lincoln hale on his most recent accomplishment.
