CNN reports that Tesla has recalled 1.6 million vehicles in China to address problems with the company's Autopilot driver-assistance system.
According to a Chinese regulator, the recall is meant to reduce the risk of collision.
China's State Administration for Market Regulation said that the issues can be resolved with over-the-air software updates.
The Autopilot issues impact 1.61 million cars, including imported Model S, Model X and Model 3 sedans.
The recall also covers Chinese-made Model 3 sedans and Model Y SUVs.

Vehicles covered by the recall were reportedly manufactured between August 26, 2014, and December 20, 2023.
According to the Chinese regulator, drivers could "misuse" the vehicle's Autopilot functions, increasing the risk of accidents.
