Pennsylvania sees slight uptick in unemployment claims, now at 69,000 in the last week

An estimated 69,408 Pennsylvanians filed claims of unemployment within the last week, a slight increase of nearly 7,000 claims or 11% from the previous week's revised number of nearly 62,500 claims according to the latest report from the U.S. Department of Labor. It is now estimated that more than 2.3 million unemployment claims have been filed in Pennsylvania since the week ending on March 21.
