In tupelo a local small business owner decided to try something new... after the goverment classified her store as "non- essential" wtva's wayne hereford spoke with the owner about how she changed her store's direction... ."

Standup.."r and b specialty printing located here in downtown tupelo has been in the idea center here for quite some time.

'they recently switched their business though from printing to selling masks and gloves because of a need known as the coronavirus."

(shriley hendrix-owner ) "i though oh my god, non- essential so i thought what do i do now.?"

What she did was start selling masks, gloves , and even hand sanitizer.

" i had a wholesale supplier , while doing printing so i reached back out to her and i said 'do you have access to some of the things that are needed now?

The essential things that are needed?

And she said "why of course we do.

And i can give you information on what's in stock and what the tracking is on it and the update on what you can do to get these things."

Lo and behold shrley's printing business is now an essential business selling supplies to people like this one satisfied customer.

And then i saw on facebook that she was selling sanitizer and that she has this specialty mask.

So i had to come down and get me some."

"i've been here making sure that we can get these items out to the customers and businesses now mind you.i still have a few of our busnesses that keeps me busy already.

One of those businesses is toyota.

They really, really support the small-business community.

Standup..shirlley says she hopes to sell more to the general public in the weeks to come.
