If you're looking for equipment for your home gym you'll spend a lot of time finding the right thing.even when you find what you're looking for, you may be paying quadruple the normal cost.or it will take weeks to get here which is affecting equipment wholesalers.fox 55's chris mullooly is live in fort wayne.

Chris... what's the problem for these stores?hunter... the stores where they would usually get their equipment are all closed...so now they're having to find brand new companies all across the country in order to get any equipment into the store.

When you walk into 03 fitness and equipment in fort wayne... you can tell theres a lot of protein powder... supplements..

All waiting to be sold...but its the rest of their stock...whatever they could get their hands on is what they wantedhas run dry.i want to say within the first week or twoangela dotson volunteers at the store when she can....and says the first week after the stay at home order was chaos.everyone asks for dumbbells barbells benches things we don't havethey were able to sell what they had... but then the problem... was getting more equipment in to sellsearching everywhere that we've never used beforethe usual retailers in ohio... pennsylvania..

Illinois they were using all closed...and have been looking in georgia... california... anywhere that is open and looking to sell their equipment to them.its definitely a change and its harderic gauger says he was looking for a barbell for weeks..

Going from store to store..

Anything to improve his home gym set up.you stop looking at what youre buying you just lok for the same fufillment at the gym and its not the sameits a transition he and many others are having to get accustomed too...trying to stay fit and motivated while gyms are closed.at home workout biz is booming workout videos left and right on youtube thats where a lot of training goes cause im not used to itgauger doesn't know if he'll rush back once gyms are back open... its why he wants the equipment....and could see this being the new normal...at least for a while.

Im motiveated by people at the gym i have friendships at the gym its hard its still hard six weeks later reporting live ... ?????????
