2020 Countdown to Kickoff: Churubusco Eagles

Meanwhile, as of now, high school athletics are still a go here in the hoosier state for the fall...girls golf teams all across indiana opened official practice on friday..all other sports, including football, are scheduled to start this coming monday... with that...our countdown to kickoff continues tonight, as we turn our attention to the northeast corner conference..

And we begin in busco..

Last season was another successful one for the churubusco eagles..

Although they fell short of a third consecutive conference championship, the eagles still managed a solid 7-3 campaign, marking the 15th consecutive season in which churubusco finished with a winning record..

Now keeping that streak alive won't be easy..

Paul sade loses a talented senior class, led by running back jake fulk, who rushed for over 18 hundred yards and 20 touchdowns in 2019..

But even though this year's group is young, the expectations don't change in turtle town..

The eagles will open their season with a trip to county rival columbia city on august 21st...
