2020 Countdown to Kickoff: Columbia City Eagles

Hey good evening everyone..

Well i think all of us are crossing our fingers that high school football goes off without a hitch here in the hoosier state..and perhaps no one is more excited for the upcoming season than the columbia city eagles... the eagles are set to open a brand new high school, and a brand new football stadium next week, and they're up next in our countdown to kickoff... they say consistency is key, and columbia city has certainly been consistent over the last few years..the eagles have strung together three consecutive seasons of .500 football..last year brett fox and company came out of gates hot..the eagles started 4-0 before stumbling down the stretch on their way to yet another 5-5 season...starting quarterback greg bolt is back..

So too are leading rusher abe barrera, four starting offensive linemen and five all- conference performers on the defensive side of the ball... and coach fox is hoping that combination of talent and experience pushes his team over the top in 2020... the eagles will open their brand new stadium with a showdown against churubusco next
