Local health officials say school districts will continue to see students testing positive for the coronavirus...but they still support the return to in person learning waay 31's ashley carter is live at huntsville hospital where the c-e-o says he trusts districts are doing their best to keep students safe.

Huntsville hospital ceo david spillers says even though we're already seeing positive cases at schools back in session, he supports the return to traditional learning.

He believes most of the cases started before students went back to school but knows we're likely to see more cases in the future.

David spiller, huntsville hospital ceo "i'm only concerned about it because there is more people engaging with each other, but i'm not overly concerned about it because i trust the people who are managing the process."

With the labor day next month...spillers says districts should have a plan in place to prevent an outbreak in schools.
