Of evansville during this pandemic - an 8- million dollar budget shortfall for 20-21.... much of that lost revenue - stems from the tropicana casino being shut down - which is estimated to generate one- million dollars a month for the city.... joining us this morning - to discuss how the city is reacting to this loss of funds - evansville mayor lloyd winnecke.... good morning mayor winnecke.... monday night the budget talk discussed non- profit funding.... tuesday night the discussion turned to the budget for other departments - including the epd.... another huge absence in the area - the ford center.... one of the last events hosted there - the ohio valley conference basketball tournament back in early march.... without games - concerts - and conventions - its hard to see that not setting the city back a bit too.... we are now just over 70-days away from a polarizing presidential election..... are you confident in mail-in voting process.... although indiana - might not be one of those adopting that strategy.... after delaying the start of the school year by over two weeks after concerns from parents after delaying the start of the school year by over two weeks after
