Under the state's new guidelines movie theaters can operate outdoors right now prime cinemas in red bluff is still closed but i spoke with one of the owners brian young.

He says they plan to have an outdoor movie experience by using part of their parking lot and showing movies on the side of the building.

Movie-goers can buy "social distance squares" that can sit up to 4 people.

Young tells me this is uncharted territory.

This is going to mirror an experience you might have going to a park and watching a movie outside// we want to show that we're doing everything to keep going because we dont want the town to lose their movie theater movies will show one at a time and start once it gets dark.
