"carle richland memorial hospital" in olney, illlinois received the vaccine yesterday.

Frontline hospital workers and first repsonders were able to get the vaccine.

The hospital says more deliveries are expected in the next few weeks.

This is to ensure healthcare employees have the opportunity to be vaccinated.

Good samaritan in vincennes also got their shipment of vaccines today.

The hospital started giving healthcare workers the vaccines this afternoon.

Officals tells us the first full day of vaccinating healthcare workers will begin tomorrow.

They'll supply the vaccine to knox... daviess... and pike counties.

Chief operating officer for the hospitals says he's glad to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

"coming to work today, hard to even sleep last night thinking about one the stress of getting this up and going.

And the pressure of making sure things go right.

On top of that was just the excitement of being able to move towards a vaccine process."
